E-PORTFOLIO ESSAY
MY LEARNING DURING THE SEMESTER
During the semester I prepared a plan that helps me in the learning and understanding in my English class. This plan was compound of various programs and software. These programs help me to improve my goal that was concentrated in the listening and speaking area. My learning goal was: learn more expressions that used in English language and more vocabulary to maintain 3 or more minute conversation. Improve my listening for a better understanding of the language.
However, I only used some of the programs, because some of them not are successfully to my improving and I decide to eliminate them. The programs that are very interesting and help me to improve my goal was English for all, ESL- lab and story of Leonard, including the conversational lab.
English for all is a program that provide us some video for improve our listening and then some questions that help in the comprehension, understanding and pronunciation too. ESL-lab is very similar to English for all, but this program provides us a recording of a situation and then a quiz. The program Story for Leonard is a narration of a story, and then gives us a quiz and other games for our comprehension.Using all this programs I feel that I get better in my skill of listening but in the speaking area I need more practice.
